First thing a local here did when his firms 3 Series BMW touring car arrived was go and get a M3 badge for the tail gate. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Back in the 1970s my then very unpopular boss bought a Saab which was fashionable with the snobby set. He had the basic model and the only external difference between that and the better model was the word "Turbo" following the model name so he asked our graphics team to produce the "Turbo" logos and stick them on the car - so we did. As I said he was very unpopular, in fact he was a right bar******, so what a shame that we made a spelling mistake and produced the stickers "Turdo". It took him several months to notice the "mistake". He never asked us again - can't think why! |

Back in 90's there was a nice lightweight in desert colours running around the Plymouth area, that was nicely badged Gulf GTi on the back. |

I seem to recall that sticking badges etc on your car can make it more attractive to thieves - and when the loss adjuster sees it on the back of your crumpled heap - you could be looking at a rather large adjustment in your loss!
