United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red
At last I have a Freelander

At long last I've managed to get myself a Freelander. Smile
I'm 68 but feel like a kid in a candy store (as the saying goes).
Full HSE with Rimini Red paint and Cream leather interior and the red glows in the sunshine (or it did when it shone here in Croydon ..........err.......... a week or so ago) Very Happy
Thinking about doing the DAB module upgrade as discussed elsewhere on here and perhaps a pair of side steps (any recommendations or horror stories about those seen on Ebay ?) and a private plate (I'm a tart at heart). Embarassed
In the meantime just enjoying it albeit don't enjoy watching the fuel gauge go down too quickly (my previous car was a SEAT Ecomotive Leon >60mpg !)
Cheers All Cool

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Fuji White

Welcome and I hope you get half as much enjoyment from your car that I have from mine Thumbs Up
I have fitted and removed 2 sets of sidesteps and seen several different versions including the OEM ones - there's not much to choose between them - buy from a reputable dealer with positive feedback and you should be OK - treat the mounting brackets and support tubes with waxoyl or similar and they should last you well

Our MY13 2.2 often returns 45 mpg so not bad for the weight it has to shift (must start slimming soon). Cool FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
