Tailgate laquer peeling

Hi all, I've just noticed that the laquer on the bottom edge of my 2012 (MY 2013) is peeling. Has anyone else experienced this and is it covered by any manufacturers warranty. I've had the FL2 since Feb 16 so it won't be covered by the dealer.
Thanks guys.

Looks like it is but rather than chipped it just seems to have peeled off.

The bottom edge of the door was rubbing against the black plastic. The black plastic was not down in it's proper position.

It was fixed without any issues. They repainted the back door & it looks like a good job.

Mine being white, a solid colour, I don't know if there is a clear lacquer on top.

My previous car the rear door was also rubbing! Was solid white & did have a lacquer on top.

My car is MY13 but bought new late 2014. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
