Bought these a couple of mnths back and forgot them!! Easy mod just straight swop for the reflectors.

how are they powered ?

I know some of them for sale are linked to the brake lights and the reversing lights

I had them on the D3 for around 4 months before some of the LEDs started failing. After 7 months, nothing works at all

After 12 months,the clear lenses have turned green with corrosion from the circuit boards

Hate to on your chips, but I don't expect them to last too long. Which is a pity, as I really liked them

They look brighter in the pics than they are .
If they fail after a while i wont cry didnt have to take a mortgage out for them when no lights on they are red so look just like the reflctors.
They are powerd from the rear lights.
There tail lights and brake lights. Back in black !!

I've got the white lenses with dual coloured LEDS but only use them for extra low level light for reversing - thought the additional brake lights were a bit OTT but very effective, and as OP says a nice simple upgrade to do No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

I have looked at these but was wondering if they still have any reflectiveness? Any problems with the mot?

'scuse my ignorance but what are these lights? Are they Tail lights? Brake lights or rear fogs? And what deficiency in the standard spec are they addressing?

They are rear lights plus brake light. There not addressing any deficiency. There just extra.
When not lit look just as the reflectors do . Back in black !!
