Key code with IID

First post on Freelander I'm on disco 3 but my wife has a Freelander 2 can I key code a new fob with a gap IID Tool?
Both remotes are failing on a 08 Freelander 2 and I've ordered a new remote. We have had to use the key on the passenger door for the past few days
The IID Works wonders on the Discovery
Thanks Eamonn

United Kingdom

As above. A lot cheaper than getting new fobs and programming them. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.
