I believe traffic news is broadcast over FM - ClassicFM to be precise in the UK, do you have reception in your area?

On my non dab radio you need to be on FM and have pressed info so that the display show TA and TP. |

I have the TP and TA showing when using DAB. The TP means the station carries Traffic News, and Mrs McSimmo who uses a DAB radio in her car gets traffic alerts, its very confusing for a simple old man like me. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

From memory, there's a button on the screen that says something like "link DAB FM". You need to have this ON, so that the FM traffic reports will come up when you are listening to DAB. At least that's how I understand it. Do you get traffic reports when listening to FM? If so, this is probably your problem! Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

I am more confused than ever, as on Saturday, the Traffic news feed started again for no reason on the DAB setting.

Sadly I have the pauper radio, so don't have that display. I'm now loath to mess with any setting in case I loose the traffic updates again. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

Do not forget that the radio station broadcasting has to remember to add the TA signal to the broadcast, if they forget (which all to commonly they do) then the TA will not trigger at your end. |

the problem with TA is that the information is normally out of date/time
