2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Baltic Blue

Been with FD since about 1990. Excellent service and when you ring them up you speak to someone with no automated press 1 for this, press 2 for that. Thoroughly recommended.

Sorry to be the odd one but having been with FD since the beginning I recently changed to Santander.

I will not go into detail but over the last 12 months have been very upset by their service and attitude to a security issue relating to proof of identity etc.

Up until this issue I was very happy with FD as are it seems most of its customers.

You can always check reviews and complaints on the web

Well, it took longer than expected to get around to it but I have just completed the switch application online. I will receive £100 in due course once I have fulfilled all the criteria and will then set up the 6% savings account. Hopefully the debit card won't take long to turn up Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

We've just swapped from Nat West to FD. Took about 1 month from first contact with FD to everything swapped over.
Very happy with them. We phoned them because we wanted to withdraw a largish amount earlier this week, most banks had closed but there was a branch 10 miles away still open, they upped our daily limit on our cards until midnight that day so that we could use the local "hole in the wall" rather than have to travel. Mine, Saab convertible

Just realised that I have been with NatWest for 50 years ! Never been in the red, never had a loan, never paid anything in bank charges. Haven't been in a branch for years. Use their app on my phone every day. Works for me. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

The welcome pack and debit card arrived yesterday and the agreement paperwork by email today. I have a switch date of the 20th and I'm already up and running with online banking and the banking app.

It was most refreshing to not only phone a bank with no press 1 for this 2 for that crap but they answered within one or two rings. Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I think you'll find FD very good. We've had excellent service from them over the last 20 years or so since just after they started up. Have several accounts with them and do almost everything online. 1982 RR Classic-converted to 200TDi-gone

I've used them for years as well. Rarely use the phone service but when I do they are very helpful. Only problem I ever had was buying a car - phoned in advance to tell them I would make a massive debit card payment, but still had to spend 15 minutes on the phone at the dealers to get them to pay. Probably a one-off though. Worth pointing out that their interest rates are not great, so I also keep accounts with TSB and Nationwide to provide a bit more interest. In general I trust them to get it right, in a way that I would never do with Santander, who seem to be unable to sort out the simplest problem with my club accounts. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.
