Well the XS had her new haldex fitted and the groaning/creaking noise has now gone when pulling out at a junction. Odd thing is that the dealership did not provide any documentation stating the work done as it was a "warranty job". However on other LR's that we've had work done on at different dealerships we always get a copy and at least sign a document stating levels of repair required / done. In total it was a 5.5 hour job and they test drove the car 7 miles. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Hi

My 2012 auto (36000 miles) has developed the same groaning brief noise from the rear and occurs only when the wheels are turned left and I think only left but not sure, on half or full lock whilst pulling out at a junction from stationnary.

This started only few days ago and it's intermittent.

As a reminder ... the rear diff has been changed under warranty one year ago at 30 000 miles ...

Fortunately the car is still under warranty until 02/2017

This is definitely my first LR and of course the last one ...

Right finally had time to a look at the brand new replaced Haldex that the dealer has fitted. At a first glance it appears that the Orange gasket has been crushed on the edge. Can anyone confirm is this is actually a Haldex 4 fitted?

Can any fellow members with a MY13 onwards vehicle please take a few photos of their actual Haldex please? If you can also take a photo of the labels as it will be much appreciated!

Hopefully no one has difficulties with their belly whilst under the car Rolling with laughter

I'm currently not with my dynamic so I cannot check this out myself with a reference to my own car Rolling Eyes Hopefully it is a Haldex 4 the dealers have fitted to the XS

Thanks Thumbs Up MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

The gasket looks like that dont worry, it cuts back across underneath the control unit.

Im getting 1 or 2 calls everyday about Haldex issues now. Keep them serviced and they will last a lot longer. Although at 13k it shouldnt of failed. www.bellengineering.co.uk
