My father in law wants to do a 2013 facelift on his 2007 fl2 HSE

Does any one know of anywhere in south west that maybe able to carry this out or any where I can get parts so I can fit

You mean exterior facelift I presume?

Facelift front bumpers can be got from eBay
Facelift tailgate handles can be bought from powerfuluk.co.uk as can the fog light bezels
facelift clear 3rd brake light and lower front bumper spats can be bought from Dan at Duckworths via this forum.
Facelift tail lights and headlights are mostly just a case of patience and pot luck but these need messing with wiring and connector changes.

All the above (less the tail and head lights) will come to about £400 -£500 before painting and fitting costs.

I have always taken the view on this sort of thing that it is never worth doing :
1. you will not increase the value of the car
2. only Freelander enthusiasts will even notice the difference. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Im in the process of doing mine, back end will be complete next week, although im not upgrading the lights (too expensive to justify) and the front bumper hopefully will be done in the next month or two once I find the right facelift bumper.

it will cost me about £400 all in by the time im finished, but a facelift HSE auto was above my budget by a couple of thousand. I'll sell my old bumper, tailgate handle and brake light afterwards to recoup some of the cost.
This way I get what I want and save around £1500 minimum on a genuine facelift.

Its all about personal choice, and I just prefer the more modern look of the facelift models.

At least you have something to sell. Have you tried ski-ing for years and years? Now that is a big black hole to throw money down especially if you add in ski touring and ski mountaineering.  FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I started with upgrading the steering wheel to post 2013 version. This I have in my hand every day and I can enjoy every day. For me the most important update.

Following this I converted the back lights to the LED version.

Now I'm searching for post 2013 Xenon head lights with the signature DLR. The bumper will stay as it is, not worth changing (my personal opinion).
Still to come is the upgrade of the instrument cluster to software 2010+, but I did not find someone with the correct equipment near my place yet.

Mav71 did a superb facelift a few years back and posted some really good info, I also did a 57reg to a 2011 which I really enjoyed doing. Check out my photos in my profile 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.
