My son traded in his FL2 GS 60 reg with 78k miles in January for £9k. It appeared a few weeks later on a 4x4 specialists forecourt with a price tag of £12.5k I noticed yesterday that after 3 months it's now down to £10,995. By the time they have done an MOT, service, some tyres and VAT and a bit of haggling there won't be much profit. I was wondering if the problem is that Freelander prices fall generally in the spring. Have others noticed this? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

there are always small seasonal variations in the prices for most 4x4's
I think in this case the dealer was being a little gready and was hoping for a cold winter price in a warm and wet January.

If he had looked at medium term weather forecasts, and that there was a lot of FL2's available, perhaps he would have priced it more sensibly
