[Wanted] fitting kit for dog guard

Does anyone have or know where I can obtain the small extension brackets that fit between the body and luggage strap brackets on a LR002521 dog guard

Try Dan at Duckworths, or maybe make some if some kind soul on here can give you the centre-to-centre measurement for the two holes in the bracket? That's what I'll be doing if I end up with one without them.

the brackets are not sold separately at all, I tried for mine when I first got it.

although IMO unless you plan to drive around with the back seats folded and the boot/seating area separated by the guard, then you don't need the brackets.

With the rear seats (or seat) up, the guard is held in place by the seat backs, if you do need to have luggage in front/ dog in the boot for example then wedge the luggage up against the guard or cable tie it to the luggage hooks.

There are actually 4 extension brackets. On each side there is one straight, flat extension painted black and one unpainted kinked extension which sits vertically from the the fixing bolt for the luggage ties. Do you not have any of these?

I'm sorry I don't have any but these are the approx dimensions:
The bent piece is approx 25 mm wide plated steel angled out at approx 45 degrees and then back in by the same angle to form a flat parallel with the first face. The length of the two end faces is approx 25mm each and the centre (sloping) face is also approx 25mm. So you would have to start off with a piece of steel at least 80mm long to allow for bending. Mine is about 3mm thick. The holes at each end are in the centres of the two flat 25 X 25mm faces. One has a captive nut but you could get away with drilling an M8 clearance hole and nut and bolt.

I have just bought a guard which includes all the fittings. If it helps I can take detailed photos/measurements for you when it arrives, before I go about fitting it. Would that be any help?

Does this help? The piece of steel itself is 3mm think and 24mm wide.

Now I just have to find/make the long bracket for the pet divider as mine was lost in transit!
