Bought some LED sidelight/number plate lights from site sponsor last week.

I had one LED sidelight which was flickering and one which was stable (flickering was only with engine running, no flickering with just ignition switched on.

I also noticed a lot of poor/lost reception on all DAB stations when the lights were on.

I changed the sidelight bulbs back to the original standard ones and as expected there was no flickering.

But I still get the DAB interference when the lights are, meaning the number plate lights will also have to come out.

Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing the single bulb flickering and the DAB interfence or has anyone experienced this ? I have double checked that I ordered the right bulbs as per the sponsors web page.

I upgraded a lot of my lights on my D3 to LED, and suffered a lot of radio interference, never found out why. This problem crops up regularly on that forum.

It doesnt help I know, but at least its not unique to you if that makes you feel better. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

cheers McSimmo, wasn't sure if it was maybe an earthing fault on mine, or the fact that the HSE Premium sound is a complicated set up and wasn't compatible with the LED. It only interferes with DAB and not normal FM

just need to find out why the single side light is flickering now
