I agree with Iain, it's a little too convenient that it had just had a service. I wouldn't trust them.

Whatever they have done has f#*ked it up, it's unlikely that you just happened to get a fault just after a service, 100% something they've done.. In my opinion of course.. I would like to see them prove me wrong.. MY2011 Freelander 2 GS Santorini Black

It turned out to be busted main bearing. Cause in my opinion was that the old slug oil was not flushed, and it glogged no 4 oil port on bearing.
