Mine is hard wired in to the supply for the rear socket (the one in between the front seats) because this is always live irrespective of the ignition being on or off and this allows for parking or incident recording. The wiring run is beneath the roof trim, down the A pillar and under the carpet and up the inside of the centre consol - I think, but I had it professionally installed. The only wiring that is visible is a few centimetres of power and coax to the front camera, but this is hidden by the rear view mirror, and a couple of centimetres of coax to the rear camera. Both cameras are barely visible from inside. C |

If it helps I bought this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nextbase-Car-Camer...ge_o02_s00 and it worked a treat. I'm using it with this http://www.amazon.co.uk/AUTO-VOX-Capacitor...ge_o02_s00 The video is reasonable quality but could be better, however I love the fact that you can't really tell it's there as it's so small and can just leave it permanently plugged in. |

I've just bought one of these as an experiment, two camera's Fitted it to my Range Rover, worked out at less than £50 with a mini SD card. Seems to perform well, even has a remote.
