Hi Bandit, Great photos. Planning to make a start on offroading at the Kielder Safaris later this year. I see you have Cooper AT tyres. Look good and capable. Are they original size or have you given yourself a bit of a lift?

TBH, apart from a few stray boulders, she was fine. It's purely clearance that holds you back, but I've driven strata in a std D1 and found it similar. |

Yep, just a couple max trax strapped across the rails. Thought they might be prudent given possible clearance & articulation issues, but they stayed unused ![]() |

Some years ago I was in a Vauxhall Fronterra in Andorra and I took the wrong turning and ended up on a mountain track, no way to turn around, sheer drop on one side and 45 degree slopes on slippery gravelly surface. Ended up in low range dreading the thought of coming down again. Eventually got to the top and emerged into a car park full of ordinary cars and a tarmac road. What a relief! |
