Except of course that would be fraud, ( deliberately using the postal service without intention to pay) always assuming that the Freepost still works, normally they are set up for specific replies, despite what you may believe the leaflet is a government publication, so unless you are attempting to damage the Conservative party ( always possible with stupid posts like this) it will also damage the Brexit campaign. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I did wonder if someone could organise a campaign to get them all collected and sold to a recycling company, then give the money raised to charity. |

So a protest against the government spending £9 million of tax payers money on a bias leaflet to every household in the country should preclude someone from voting? As direct action goes it's small fry. The Conservative party deserve some damage for there arrogance and I hope enough people send these leaflets back to do so! |

It will make not a single jot of difference sending it back, get your local councillor to call round, hand it to him to take back, at least then you know you have wasted someone's time. |

Sadly I do not think any action will make a jot of difference. I have generally voted Conservative all my voting life but Cameron's arrogance over this booklet, the EU and overseas aid (for example) takes the biscuit. And this is supposed to be a democracy! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

I put a return sticker on mine today. I myself think that the government should have taken a step back and let the in/out parties campaign for the election. The government here have dropped a clanger, they have anouyed a lot of voters. Maybe it will make a difference to the outcome of the vote?
