I need to update my reply here - IT IS POSSIBLE TO UPGRADE FROM PRE 2013 TO POST 2013 STEERING WHEEL.

I will add a "how-to" later today with pictures and parts needed. I love my new 2013 steering wheel in my 2008 FL2. Thumbs Up

When I joined here a while ago I got the same response, it's not possible. But by doing more in depth analysis and with the help of my brother who is the expert now it was possible. More to come when I'm home and have all the photos available.
