2010 LR2 with Sirius?

Radio says Sirius when it turns on, but won't tune to typical station or show me the radio Id anywhere in the radio settings. Tried searching Sirius site by VIN and got nothing. Looked in the boot to the left of the spare tire and found a little Siemens piece, amp maybe? And an empty grey plug. Is it way up under the side panel? Any other way to get the ID without disassembling the car lol?

It's not an amp!
To be honest doesn't look familiar or OE especially in that location, if it's where I think it is from your pic.
Grey plug is for trailer module which usually goes in that location. It's a bit hard to see what it is or what's it's connected to.
Assuming you have the optional module, my first step would be to check all fuses in the RJB (Rear Junction Box) and all fuses, there will be a separate fuse for the Sirius module. If all ok, pull the "Ring Break circuit connector", small metal bridge which appears to connect a relay circuit, wait 5 minutes and replace. This should reset the MOST network and the Sirius module.
I'm not familiar with the Alpine System you have but I would imagine, as there is with the Meridian System for Digital radio, an "Auto Tune" you must complete to register all receivable channels. Refer your owners manual. MY15

This is what the Sirius module looks like

https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/391403194003

It's mounted on the left hand side of the boot, behind the plastic trim.

Same location as the DAB module in the vehicles outside of North America.

Have a look in my thread about the DAB retrofit, you'll see the location.

Sirius needs a subscription, in case you didn't know. To bring it up on the radio you need to press the FM button to scroll through to it.

If you pm me your VIN I can look up the details of your car for you. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

Thanks. Looked at your pics, it's pretty far up behind the plastic, explains why I couldn't feel or see it. I have a subscription in my vehicle, wanted to activate it in the wifes LR. Dealer checked the vin, and confirmed it does, or should, have the module. I'll pull the panel on the weekend.

I couldn't find a North American handbook for the LR2 but looking in the Range Rover Sport handbook (similar radio) you select Sat Radio from the AUX input, it's not the FM button like DAB.

Pressing AUX multiple times should give you AUX, SAT1, SAT2 ? 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

Nope. It's the FM/digital button. Pulled the rear plastic aside, found the module, got the number, called Sirius, they activited a 3 month trial, drove around for 10 minutes or so, and the FM/digital magically would switch to SAt1/sat/2 and the channels started coming in. Nice. Also dug into the drivers door to see why the door speaker wasn't working. The magnet had fallen completely off. New speaker in, system suddenly sounds a whole lot better. Thanks all for the help.
