My stereo done that today had the kids in the car when I went to get diesel left the cd playing for them. When I got back in started up the radio had no sound. Switched it off via the button it was then stuck on the land rover symbol. I parked up removed key then disconnected the battery waited a few minutes then touched + - lead together then reconnected which seamed to of worked for me. I even got a cheer from the kids when it worked.
