France 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Santorini Black

Whilst I didn't measure the angle of the slope, it was too steep to stand on without hanging on to a tree. Thats why it blew us away. To think that the FL2 could go up in reverse was insane.

Hi jak, which terrain response mode did you put to go back this slope without stalling ? Is it manual or automatic ? With DSC off to have more throttle ? Thanks. Julien Freelander 2 TD4 S / Santorini black / Genuine factory GPS with Bluetooth phone connection / Front and Rear parking aids

We'll, LR say the freely will go anywhere the defender goes albeit slower, so that should be pretty impressive!

They can go where ever a Defender goes but they can't get back out of it. Very Happy I've been out on the tracks with a stack of Defenders and Discos and trust me, the FL2 is good, but nowhere near as good as them. Not even close.

In certain conditions the f2 is better than both defender and discovery and I am a landrover fan and have owned both, lack of ground clearance is only issue for me in comparison but on say a muddy field on the same tyres the f2 would be my choice

Quite sure a FL2 did Suicide Hill at Tong when we used to have the Disco3 days.
It's a bit steep if you watch the way the silver one in front went over. Wink

FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.
