Hi All,
My metropolis, does this on start-up, I think it is because the car has detected to key and you have not yet put on your seatbelt, soon as I latch up, bong stops,
only my opinion, does it all the time, warm, cold etc Idea Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!

Well, I had 2 "bong free days" Sunday/Monday but now they are back again. There is no logic to it at all!

Mine is temperature related. I 'think' its either bonging at 7 degrees, or 9. I get no warning message on the dash.

Mine is also silent for low fuel and the dash temperature snow flake. So its a bit backwards Whistle 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

Well, since the cold weather arrived (3C on the car thermometer) there have been no bongs. I can't really believe it is temperature sensitive, but whatever the reason I am glad to be bong free on start up.

Well, one day recently up here (Scotland) we had a staggering 11C and guess what the bongs appeared on start up! Now we are back to the 3/4/5C and bongs have completely disappeared. So, contrary to what I originally though, it appears to be temperature related. Still doesn't explain WHY though...
