Dog Owners Take Note - Ticks

Just thought I'd share this as many here like me are dog owners.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-35815813

Stories have been cropping up for a few years in some areas with suggestions it was spreading - this has now been confirmed.

Time to get a tick removal tool and check my dog after walks.

I have already a "tick key" on my key fob, supposed to be very good, though I have never had to use it Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Orkney Grey

The epitome of low life - mostly spread by deer. Here in the Cotswolds we are inundated by both roe deer, muntjac deer as well as foxes and badgers. The ticks can sometimes attach themselves to humans and quick action is needed to remove them. If a bullseye type of lump appears at the site of the tick then get to the docs immediately as it could be Lymes disease.

We were forever taking them off our late Jack Russell Bertie. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Yeah, I saw that on the telly this morning and passed the link on to our friends with dogs. More worrying because the dogs that died are fairly near to us. Sad Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
