LR004927 /LR005681 waterproof seat covers

Anyone using or have used the OEM waterproof seat covers?

Are they a neat custom fit?

Do they cover the backs of the front two seats (where the kids in rear child seats rub their wellies!)?

Do they allow for the airbags in the front seats?

Any comments or experiences would be appreciated.

Cheers

I have the DS equivalent. They fit fine, and I am happy with them.
Yes, airbag friendly, washable, and easily fitted

Would only by LR covers

The covers are made by a company called Inka Corp and are just labelled with the land rover tag.

The Inka branded ones are exactly the same, with the same complete coverage of the seats and designed with the airbags in mind.

Plus they are more than half the cost. (full front seat covers set is about £60 IIRC)

I have the LR front ones. Never actually used them other than a test for a few days. Got them just in case I needed to protect the leather in extreme situations. I wouldn't want to leave them on permanently, & they are a bit loose in some areas. If I have been to the beach and am a bit wet and salty I/we just use one or two large thick white bath towels to sit on & pull up behind my back if that is needed as well. I keep them in the boot (also useful for packing) & swap them over with clean ones when needed. Quick, simple & cheaper!

It is a while since I looked at them, they do have an airbag tag on the side & I think they do cover the back of the seat, but I would have to double check. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I have the LR ones and they do cover the back of the seat.

They also have a long side hole in them for airbag deployment.

Unfortunately, due to the long side airbag hole, they are not a tight fit and look nothing like the photo in the accessories catalogue when fitted. A such, I find them very loose and the elastic Velcro fixings are always coming undone, which does not help the fit either. The material quality, however, is excellent.

I used to put them on for the summer as they kept salt water (Wetsuit) off the leather but I can't be bothered now. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green
