New D4 Commercial and new Graphite

Well, had a few problems with Hovis, so he's gone the journey! My new Loire Blue D4 was picked up on the 1st of March. I'm really pleased with The new one aka Crumpet. Rolling with laughter
Dad traded his 59plate shogun in for a new

Montalcino red graphite. He's also thrilled with his- or would be had he not reversed te whole length of the shavings trailer... Necessitating the car being transported back to the dealer for major bodywork repairs. Poor Dad. He's gutted. Not even had it a week. It's the first new car he's had in 30 years.

I was quite sad to say bye to Hovis but he'd had a new alternator and then needed the air suspension wiring replacing... Not even two years old!
I'm praying LR listen to their customers and will produce a commercial D5.
I'm not holding my breath though!

Feel sorry for your dad! Bit of a Censored but at least now one was hurt. My brothers got a new discovery on order he is number 6 on the waiting list at the dealers. If they do make a commercial variant it wil be a very very expensive van. How popular is the discovery commercial currently?

£43k for a van isn't Shocked . At one point it was a 6 month wait to get one, they are very popular. I can't see me placing an order for a D5 anytime soon, their getting silly money. It's the first time in a long time my name ain't on my dealers list for something Laughing but that DS really put me off.

I feel your dads pain, my DS was damaged 3 days into ownership. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I thought you were going to be the first one to get a D5 you said you'd make sure you got "goodies" with it.

A slight dent to the tailgate, cost about £220 at Pentland Perth.

Laughing that was a bit of a rant at not getting my heated steering wheel. You never know though if my salesmans calculator displays good looking figures, I may take one. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

My van was 48K... But you know what I blooming love it!
I spend so long at the wheel in difficult and challenging situations.
From the outside it looks like any D4... But it's packed with goodies inside....not including the drugs!
Best of all the government gives me 20% back...
AND I have a heated steering wheel!! Couldn't live without it.
Rolling with laughter

Have to say, the HSW and a full size spare were just about the only extras I added to my D4. Had it for 5 winters now and it still makes me smile every morning as I flick the 'on' paddle! Whistle
