United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Firenze Red

Mine is not so I will not be able to comment.

Had the FL2 still been in production instead of the "DS people carrier" I would have had a new brand spanking one this month and probably Auto.
My MY13 manual will be a with us for a long while yet then, maybe until the next Defender and if that is not up to scratch for us with dirty interests (Allotments and even at my age some Caving trips) it will be goodbye to my custom.

Not Welsh so no Sheep Sheep Sheep Sheep carried or chased Thumbs Up FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

She isn't so clean any more 😂😂, got a dog guard put in today as well, keeps the little monster at bay 😀, should have got a freelander years ago, only been into a few woods and light lanes today, but she hasn't missed a beat, I must say, I'm in love

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Santorini Black

The auto box takes a couple of seconds to engage gear from neutral once you select it, so you kind of have to think 5 seconds ahead at traffic lights etc. but this is the same for nearly all auto boxes on most brands. nothing to worry about

If its a big clunk or an excessively long delay to engage it may be needing a software update from LR or it may actually be something mechanical. However the auto box seems to be pretty bullet proof if used correctly.

Yeh from what people have said when I've spoke to them. It's sounds perfectly normal, I've just never had an auto before, so it's all new for me Smile
