The finisher had Lamd Rover part numbers and stickers on, OEM manufacture but identical to the real thing as far as I could tell and £78 so quite a bit cheaper.
Hacked off the end of the pipe and a piece out of the side of the finisher to get it to sit higher and tuck up against the bumper, looks much better.
I need £700 now for a Milltek cat back exhaust for an Evoque, they sound quite good even on a diesel, that is but a dream though.

Yes, but you have to cut the rear bumper for the outlets!

Had a ride out through the Dales yesterday, here's a pic taken up at Ribblehead. Weather was foul.
Had a bit of a moment on the way back down to Grassington, was steaming down a long straight road, hit a 'yump' and took off Shocked all four wheels off, the auto box changed down in mid air, when I landed the engine was doing 3500 rpm but no drive, it had obviously gone into neutral, had to coast to an almost stop before the drive picked up. The box will need looking at on the next service s some of the changes are very very harsh (before the jump I might add)
Planning on going back up with Npinks, might get him to photograph it, an airborne shot will look good Laughing

Yes I have details of that bulletin Thumbs Up

On occasions as I stop apply the handbrake, the car after about a second seems to slam into gear and the car really jolts hard. Not all the time though.

Back in the late 90's I had something like this in my company car a Citroen XM auto (with a ZF box) that took off when I went over a big bump, I am not sure what happened but the engine raced and when the car hit the ground it was in neutral and doing about 60. After that it started going into neutral between gear changes and sometimes staying in neutral, eventually the gearbox was sent to a specialist for an overhaul but it was never the same after that episode. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

It's ok, I don't worry about it, sometimes I don't bother messing with it, I think it simply looks better with less numbers/ letters on it. I used to put Freel2 on it.
Thanks for noticing though Thumbs Up

Hi Taz,
How many miles has the car done. I had the auto box, Haldex, diff etc. fluids changed yesterday at 51k miles and the gear changes are much more positive, and the small (bump for want of a better expression) when engaging gears from neutral has been eliminated.
Not going to say how little it cost because I "have a man who can" for just about the cost of material's. Thumbs Up
