United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black
Reduced engine performance: NOW SOLVED

On my way home today, leaving a 30 mph limit, I decided to use the kickdown but after 5 seconds, the amber engine light came on and "Reduced engine performance" flashed up but managed to get home. Not limited to 30 mph but did what it said on the tin!

My FL2 is a 2012 XS SD4 auto, does anyone know what this problem might be? Is it one anyone else has had?

LR Assist contacted, end of shift today but will come out tomorrow after 0800. I said that was OK since I wasn't stuck somewhere and at least I can have a brew while waiting for them at home.

Any ideas welcome

Cheers Thumbs Up

Luke

Thanks for the link.

LR Assist arrived this morning, and sure enough, it was the fuel filter. Should be fine now.
