The car is 5 years old and I only get the P0299. When pulling away you can tell that it's under powered, but 60 - 70 mph it is back to normal. |

HAD THIS LAST TUESDAY, LR ASSIST GUY SAID IT WAS A LOOSE INLET PIPE!! TIGHTENED IT AND ALL WAS CURED, THEN IT RETURNED AGAIN THIS TUESDAY, LR ASSIST CAME OUT AGAIN THIS TIME THE GUY SAID IT WAS A VARIABLE VANE ISSUE WITH THE TURBO, TOOK CAR TO DEALER, WAS GIVEN A BRAND NEW DISCO 4 HSE BY ENTERPRISE.

My final fix was "fault traced to perished O rings and flap arm in inlet manifold damaged - replace with new" LR006680 Manifold - Air Intake LR005364 Gasket - Intake Manifold Total price (2012) £259.54 at main dealer. So probably didn't need the new turbo and EGR cooler! |
