Would make a great opening for a book?

I read a sentence from Freddies signature on an old posting and wanted to read more - He wrote;
“You feel uneasy, as the mad scientist locks the door behind you & dissolves the key in a vat of Acid”

Any others that make you feel make you want to know more?

Mine would be;

"Sherlock Holmes slowly opened the creaking coffin lid.............and looked out" FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

npinks and CG drew their wepons of choice, as they faced each other with disdain - One held a calor gas bottle valve and the other a hand full of grain.

A little digging in Google and I came up with the following PC Game that had a walkthrough with it quoted

Leather Goddesses of Phobos

which then led me too

Quote:
Leather Goddesses of Phobos is an interactive fiction computer game written by Steve Meretzky and published by Infocom in 1986. Like many other Infocom titles, it was released for the IBM PC (DOS), Atari 8-bit, Amiga, Apple II, Apple Macintosh, Atari ST and Commodore 64 computers. This game was Infocom's first "sex farce" and featured selectable "naughtiness" levels ranging from "tame" to "lewd". It was one of five top-selling Infocom titles to be re-released in Solid Gold versions including in-game hints. It is Infocom's twenty-first game.

So I now think I missed out on something and wish i hadn't sold the Commodore 64 Big Cry Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Hey, we should actually write a book... each post on the thread adding a new sentence. I will give it a go...

And then in strolled a guy called George who offered to take the pupil in exchange for some of his finest chickens, as they would look much nicer on the castle table. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
