Is the CCF mod a simple task i.e. use a diagnostic reader and select a box that says premium sound system? Or is it a trip to the local LR dealer! |

A dealer won't do this for you. I know a guy in Essex who can, otherwise have a look in the threads on this forum regarding the headlight upgrades, any garage who was able to edit the CCF for the headlight upgrade will be able to do the same for the Premium Sound. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

Thanks Cambo for the info, I was thinking of getting a Hawkeye diagnostics so would that edit the CCF ? If not then hoping a fellow member could assist or a trip to Essex might be in order!!!

I don't think a hawkeye can do this but a nanocom can. |

Nanocom can do it, but you need a version with the Freelander 2 license. And you also need an account with Blackbox to edit the CCF using their Genesis tool. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

Thanks Cambo, clearly a it bit more involved than first thought, I have a local LR specialist who I will ask if they can edit the CCF and if not then perhaps a trip to Essex maybe required. I will post as I progress, centre dash speaker on order and DD Amp on its way. |

Many thanks for your advice, won't be able to get to the LR specialist until next week but hopefully the other parts should have arrived by then |

So the maps are on DVD instead? You fitted a DVD drive for the Nav? I don't really understand here...
