Windscreen wiper replacement

Hi all,
I need to replace wiper blades on FL2 2012 (MY 2013). Is it an easy process for a non technical/ mechanical person like myself Embarassed or is it worth paying Halfords the extra to fit them?
Thanks as always for your help.
Nigel.

They dont do self fitting ones, maybe best to ask Halfords if youve any doubts as to your ability, if you get it wrong you might end up scratching the screen?

Changed mine the other day, and they were the easiest wipers to change that I've ever come across....

....until my boy showed me how easy it was on his Golf!! Steve

I need to replace my rear window one. Anybody got any recommendations for one that doesn't drag and make an awful noise

Where do the smooth ones come from or are you not allowed to advertise the name here?

You can get them from the place everyone seems to think is unmentionable?
There is a thread on here all about them, tells you which cat they come off, Clio maybe?

Links are not forbidden, unless it's a personal sale and in reality why go there from here, they get paid millions, Martin doesn't get anything back from eBay (whoops) so why should we support them?

I don't believe forum sponsors sell them so not depriving them of business, except of course, the loss of a wiper blade sale.

The mod was very popular at one time, not so these days, maybe this will spur others on to tidy up their back end Laughing

Top Tip .. When you remove the wiper don't let the arm snap back into the screen it could crack, it has happened to at least one member on here Thumbs Up
