My mirrors have the juddering problem which I used to be able to cure by the 'push backward and forward a few times' method. This no longer works, lubricant all gone? I have some copper grease but am not sure where to apply it. Do I need to take the mirrors apart and if so how. |

No need to take apart, just push them as far forward as you can, (see picture earlier in thread) and lubricate the metal section you can see. |

It does take a bit of force, you even think you have snapped something, but push or pull it round, and push or pull the mirror back when lubricated. |

Just a month or so into ownership (of a MY13) and both my mirrors started juddering - one cured with silicone spray and the other Mr Muscle (no silicone spray in the caravan). Both seem to have worked - I guess I'll see how long for.

Great thread, I intend to lubricate mine tomorrow. Can anyone tell what the best lube is to use, I have standard grease or PTFE spray, will these do or should I buy some copper grease? Thanks. |

Pushed forward (easily), wipe, spray with PTFE spray, work to & fro. All good. NO judder. Lovely. |

Yes you can fold the Windows forward to expose the track, where you spray the grease. |

FYI I'm not sure if anyone's come to the same solution, but I'm confident the juddering on my mirrors is caused by a lack of clearance and/or sagging between the folding and fixed plastic sections. The motors are fine, if I gently hold the mirror up, it folds smoothly.
