A relative bought a Jeep & said wish he hadn't, it's been no end of problems. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I know I have complained a lot in the past with my various FL2 problems but one thing I will say is that LandRover support is excellent especially if you have the extended warranty with LR Assist and a decent LR dealer (Yeovil in my case). For this reason alone I would be happy to buy another LR if they had something that I wanted (which they don't).

Aftersales Service well I must be a unlucky hombre over here as TWO separate dealers have been nothing but a crock o' ( disclaimer; This is MY personal and humble opinion based on purely personal experience ) and cannot wait to get rid of MY14 Freelander purely down to aftersales service. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

If I had to pick something other than a FL2 it would be a Nissan Xtrail with the 2.0Dci engine .Not a lover of the Korean stuff , as mentioned a Dacia Duster could be an option . I've drove one and was very impressed with it for the price .

Is that because of problems and failure to deal with them or the way they treat you when you go in for after sales service? I get follow up calls every time I visit plus emails from LR asking if I will fill in surveys and/or be a mystery shopper. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto 5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE |

I'm shortlisting a bit now. Just dismissed the Outlander on the grounds I drove behind one yesterday and the back end looks c**p. LOL

what do you mean by ' Is that because of problems and failure to deal with them '? there is a well documented thread on here on a fault with my new freelander and if you can find it have a read, shocking treatment IMO as I deal with people daily and would never treat them like I have been treated. buying a new car then having the shine wiped off it by shoody treatment is not very nice mate, waited years to get what I wanted and now nightmare. as for LR Assist.. waste of space. LR did not even send my online customer service survey this time. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny. 🐑 Freelander 2 HSE auto 2014 ( Florrie ) ..... Try again. Freelander 2 GS 2012...... Gone. |

My brother own's a garage so knows cars and having had a disco and a couple of Full Fats while looking after the familys various Landrovers. He has the Sportage KX4 with the higher output engine and loves it. He was looking at an Evoque as money is no object but bought the Kia which I think speaks volumes. |

that's handy to know as I'm off down the Kia garage later, was looking at the KX3. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
