Radiator protection

I found on radiator results of small stones hit just after one week driving car. Looks like cost saving and parts sharing play in this case bad role - front grille and bottom mesh are transparent for small stones and bugs. I know from ford/mazda owners this is an issue. Does anybody try or know how to protect radiator from small "UFO" Question Freelander 2 HSE i6 Tonga Green

I don't have a solution to this problem, but I have noticed the same on my car (when washing it), was going to point it out to dealer and ask their thoughts - probably not much knowing them.
