I once asked for a pizza in a chip shop in Girvan, the owner promptly unwrapped a supermarket pepperoni pizza and dropped it in the fryer Shocked it was actually quite good Laughing

I have to admit though, I have never been impressed with food north of the border, except for the Dehli Darbar in Dumbarton, I would always go there when staying around Glasgow Thumbs Up
