I think I need a new battery but am struggling to know what one.

Lots of posts on here about a 80ah 800amp AGM battery for stop/start.

I have a 2011 FL2, I do not have stop start. The LR (Exide) battery that is in is the orig and all it says on it is 12v 80ah 700amps SAE.

Can someone help, the prices vary a lot!!

That's not an AGM one is it? So do I not need that? Its very confusing.

AGM were in the start stop versions I believe, but you say yours isn't start stop, mine wasn't either Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

No its not, but apparently if I put the wrong battery in, the car won't charge it. My battery says nothing on apart from what's above.
I'm loosing the will to live over this car at the moment.

Since when can't you just buy a battery and stick it in??

Suprised you dont have StopStart as my 11MY bottom of range S has. Even with S/S with AGM battery it appears you can just replace it. Mine seems OK but still have to reset the windows.
There are rumours that the BCM needs resetting by LR or indie but elsewhere says will reset charging after 48hrs.
I think you will have less of a problem. FL2 11 S Black 😂

Mine is Auto, no stop start.

I have bit the bullet and bought the normal one (EA852). Even Tanya Batteries did not know which one.

It's in, the car starts, all seems fine!
