Unfortunately horse power of engines is measured differently in some countries.
In continental Europe, the 2,2 litre TD4 engine has 160 hp if no DPF (diesel particulate filter) is fitted, and 152 hp with standard DPF. The torque remains the same with 400 nm at 2000 rpm.
In continental Europe the horse power is measured at the drive axle, in the USA at the clutch. For this reason USA vehicles show always more hp than identical vehicles in Europe.
