2014 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Loire Blue

Best warranty you can get. Utterly essential.
Sunroof, makes you happier.
Good tyres on smaller sized wheels. For comfort.
Reversing camera.
Auto box is poor. Manual has issues so no preference on the gearbox.
Fire extinguisher, big one.

Mine had a tailgate spoiler & a full size spare due to the quality of my haggling Laughing . So you got me on a few bits. There was also a set of mudflaps in the boot which the kindly sales person chucked in (also got a hamper of goodies and a load of cleaning stuff which was a surprise).

As for No1 options, got to be heated steering wheel, reversing camera and all the bleeping stuff to stop me bashing into things when parking Smile FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

Austria 2008 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

I just recently went through the same questions when searching for an FL2 and my priority list was as follows:

- 4WD
- Auto transmission
- Sun roof (all my cars have sunroof or targa roof)
- Xenon
- heated leather seats
- front & rear parking sensors
- Premium audio with BT
- Sat nav (love the analog clock as screen saver)

So I ended up with an HSE spec. Thumbs Up

just go for the highest spec you can afford, with the best mileage, service history and warranty that you can get.

HSE normally ticks all the boxes for extra goodies, was available from launch so early models are cheaper, and there are plenty around to choose from in manual or auto.
