I see on some models there is a large silver control knob between the gear shift and radio area.
Other models seem to have some sort of switch collection instead

What are these controls for?

This is the terrain response system, ie settings for snow, mud, grass etc. The dial is on the slightly oder models and the buttons are on the newer. Not sure when the changeover was. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
