lets face it with the MG's though, the rubber bumper models were a hell of a lot uglier than the earlier chrome models.

not sure the same applies to the FL2 though


an ex girlfriend of mines Dad had classic cars, and one was a facelift MGB GT (rubber bumper model) but it had been restored in British Racing Green, cream pleather interior with green piping and chrome bumpers. It was a gorgeous looking car.


LR NUT im ordering a clear brake light lense this week, already got some black side vents on the way from a forum member.............. flippin heck im modding again !!

yep, should have kept the old black vents, clear brake light and smoke side repeaters... but then I always was an idiot

the old manual one was probably going to cost me another few hundred quid to have the rear diff sorted, and having just spend out £1200 on service, clutch etc my bank balance wouldn't stand any more abuse. But should really have swapped it in for another FL2 auto, instead of going for a car that depreciates faster than speeding bullet and then back to a FL2.

I must be in the minority but I find the old pre facelift tailgate handle nicer than the chrome version.

Im thinking of downlifting my facelift to the old style front and back as lots of folk say they like the original better, mind you those who say that do own a facedrop one.

fancy a bumper swap ? lol

I'll swap the "original" tailgate handle for the new long shiny one...
