if yours is the 2013 facelift, with the revised dashboard and electronic parking brake, then I think you can change the battery easily, although it should still charge in the car.

I doubt if the "keyless" ignition keys "still charge in the car" you would need a pretty hefty induction loop to charge a key that could be positioned anywhere in the vehicle. The older ones will only work because they are very close to the coil. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

If car is 2013 MY and is not a slot in key. Also has electronic handbrake.

just bought 12 batteries the other day off amazon, same price as some charge for one and panasonic branded too, also use them in a few other things Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I changed mine at the weekend as I was getting the message! My batteries came from IKEA. Easy job and all well now! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

MY13 with Electronic Parking Brake is easy just split keys and fit new batteries. Just done mine. |
