Hi All, new to this, but desperatly looking for advice, i have a lfr2 gs 2011, last Friday morning we had a bad cold snap, had to defrost my door to enter my car, Any way got in,inserted key as normal, Clutch, depress start/stop button, car starts as normal, leaves it to warm up (7 a.m in the morning) reversing out the drive engine management light is on and rep displays on screen. That night took to a friends garsge for a diagnostics, result was low pressure fault, resets light and i took it for a blast up and down the motorway as advised, car was great all weekend. Monday morning, cold snap, surprise light on rep message, limped to work, coming home car was fine, power , acceleration, as normal, but the light is still on, worst case the dpf has gone, least is a faulty sensor. i hope this may reasure fellow lrf2 owners to the annoyingly what could be expensive problem, i have my car booked in the garage this friday, sure to keep you informed, i'm told it could be a cold start problem ? lets see..

There is a long running thread on here about adding an extra earth lead (I believe between the battery and the gearbox but check on that)

in some cases it cured starting problems and various warning messages.

Have you got any fault codes? Earth lead possible as said.
