Are you driving around with them on all the time as daylight running lights?

I tried Halfords. Lasted less than 12 hours! Found Bosch to be the best so far. But what's the problem? May try WD40 on the multi connector? |

Some times if the bulb is just a little loose it can get shaken around whilst driving, this can cause the hot light filament to snap.

are the bulbs exploding or just blowing ? if they are exploding / shattering just go back to standard LR / Philips bulbs as the Halfords ones seem to be too long and the dip mechanism is probably fouling and hitting the bulb causing it to explode |

Try wearing cotton gloves when changing the bulbs or not touching the glass at all.

I've never touched the bulb at all. You don't have to. You hold them by the back and twist them in to seal. Job done..... Then a few weeks later.... Pop.... Glass always ok. Just the element that goes. 😊 |

If it's only a matter of weeks then something else could be going on, try getting into the habit of manually turning off your lights and turning them on 'after' the engine has started, when the auto light position is selected you press start the lights come on, then the engine starts and the lights flicker with the strange voltages going to them, this will not do them any good at all and may be the cause of your issues. It's worth a try, I do it all the time, never use auto.

Just a suggestion, as it is very hard not to touch a bulb when unpacking and fitting.

Yes. Thanks. May try them next.... Unlike my last GS. This GS does not have auto? And I always switch on after start up ? |
