Hi and welcome to the forum Thumbs Up

you have a really nice FL2 there, the HST with its body kit is a very sought after model and there are quite a few on here that have done the grill change from the standard pre 2011 (as in your bottom pic) to the HST mesh grill which looks a lot better in many peoples eyes

if you upgrade to a facelift bumper (post 2011 style) then Im not sure if the HST lower body kit parts will still fit.

If you choose to change from HST to standard grill then its a bumper off job (covered in this forum, just use the search facility)

Thank you !

Seems like a lot of hassle to change a grill, i might just keep the HST one !

to fit the hst the origonal grill is cut out with a hacksaw, hst frill surrounds covers up the rough edges, so to revert you need to melt out the remains of the original then plastic weld a new in if you can get one At work

I think the HST mesh grille looks something of an afterthought, like they got that far and cant quite see what to do for the best, so picked up something from a chip pan.

Personally as your car is a factory HST I would leave it as is. Your grill is unique to the HST so why change it? Lets not forget that the RRS was the first HST model by LR and the Freelander followed suit. Personal choice as always Thumbs Up
