England 2010 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Fuji White
New owner with specification questions

Hi all,

I'm new to this site and new to Landrover. I've just bought my first Freelander 2, 2010 sd4 HSE, and I love it.

I do have a couple of questions though:

1. I have a working footwell light on the drivers side but not on the passenger side and it doesn't look like it has the bulb housing fitted. Surely on this model it should have both or is it possible it was only fitted on the drivers side?

2. I don't have the headlight levelling adjustment roller next to the headlight switch. Again surely on this spec it should be included or is it possible I have auto levelling lights.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark, you should have both of those.

Do you have xenon headlights? If so, they should be auto levelling, so you wouldn't need the light adjuster.

Thanks both,

If the passenger footwell light isn't there for any reason is it something I can fit easily enough? It'd be nice to have two.

Also how do I check to see if I have Xenons?

We have a 2010 GS with both footlights and a 2011 GS where the bulbholders were fitted but with no bulbs (they have now). I remember having to root around to find the passenger bulbholder but it was there. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Have a look and see if you have height adjusters... Laughing

Or, sign up to Topix and you can find full build details for your car.

I would imagine it would be obvious if you have xenon lights. Confused
They light up with a flash, and the intensity gets brighter after a few seconds.
Plus they look different to standard halogen lights, much whiter beam.
