My 09 Hse had adaptive headlights

Never really noticed the benefit, though driving through housing estates you occasionally saw the beam moving

My '14 HSE LUX doesn't have them as they were dropped for the spec, but I know notice the difference between them both, adaptive were better

The standard HID on my last car MY11 were better than than these on the MY13. The latter are Visteon make, not sure what the original unit was. I have upgraded the lamps to Philip extreme vision HID, but the pattern is not as good as the MY11 units which seemed to have a wider beam, these have a horrible profile and I am not sure if the reflectors have 'burnt', this will be looked at before the warranty expires in August.

My 2012 HSE has adaptative lights as well, I can clearly see the beam moving when turning. Thumbs Up
