United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Orkney Grey
No acceleration

I've experienced my first ever issue with the Freelander. Been a joy till now.

Just driven over 300 miles motorway, A roads, etc. On my return to London the car would not accelerate when moving from a traffic light. It does not lurch, nothing happens almost as if you are being held back and then it goes. This has happened sporadically 6 times in the last hour.

I have checked fuel, oil, it revs perfectly happily in neutral.

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated. And no I didn't leave the brake on Smile

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago and took it into the dealers.A quick reload of the software
and its been perfect ever since.

Thanks very much. Going to the garage tomorrow. Fingers crossed that's what it is.
