Mud flap fitting - rusted and knackered screw

So I'm in the process of fitting the back mud flaps. Those are the easy ones I said. That's until I realised one of the screws you take out under the bumper is rusted and has been stripped.

So any of you wonderful people know of an easy way to get it out? I'm thinking of a £5 screw extractor kit for screfix or the like Big Cry 2010 HSE SD4 in Santorini black

I have the dynamic so my mudflaps are different. Is there any way you can reach the threaded part of screw if so using pliers unscrew it until you can then grab it from the actual head and continue to unscrew it. Failing that drill it out Thumbs Up MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Don't Censored about with extractors. Run a small drill through, then progressively a slightly larger one until it falls out. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

Finally got all 4 mudflaps fitted. That rusted screw was a pain in the Censored

For future reference you can get pliers on the back if you put ya hand in the bumper from underneath. 2010 HSE SD4 in Santorini black

Always.

Yep always use stainless in areas that are going to get salt and everything else thrown at it.
I get mine at:- http://www.a2stainless.co.uk/ if you can't find what you need there you need to go to Specsavers. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE
