Hi there, my 14 plate fl2 td4 is now 2 yrs old, it's done 21,000m. I believe it's due a B' service. I'm a mechanic and was going to do it myself, can anyone tell me what the B' service consist of? And also if I do it myself will it effect my warranty?

As long as you carry out the service as per the requirements using parts of equal quality to OE parts, your warranty will not be affected. I'm sure someone will come along soon and point you in the direction of the service schedule. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

You need to have a VAT invoice to prove the car has been serviced, to preserve your warranty, regardless of your trade

Doesn't have to be MOT registered, just VAT registered.

its to stop more knowledgeable home mechanics than the LR trained technicians carrying out the work at a third of the cost.
