Dashboard Rattle

Both my Dad's FL2 and mine have developed a rattle somewhere behind the dashboard. Extremely annoying. Has anyone else had this problem. The local dealer have not managed to locate this yet? Sad Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

mine does it at about 50 mph in 6th but only at temperatures of 14 to 16 (outside) at 20 degrees the glove box starts buzzing and at 12 degrees its the gear lever that drones. Incidentally there is now some up and down play between my gear knob and the shaft,........... still only minor niggles, probably all caused by towing the van (thought I'd get that in before someone else did) Whistle

since they took the satnav screen apart and spent 3 attempts at putting it back in to my high standards i'm not too sure if i trust them messing around again.

But then noise is noise and £28k cars should not rattle Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

some days now my car sounds really bad, rattles now coming from the glove box, the front nearside main speaker, near side B post trim, noise from the rear three quarter panel that sounds like a cable touch inside the panel, drivers side B post trim and the heater fan makes a very annoying noise at low speeds. Apart from these .... she's fine !!!! Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!
